Symptoms of Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML), also termed acute myelogenous leukemia (AL), is a grave blood cancer that affects the bone marrow. During AML, the bone marrow produces abnormal myeloid cells. These abnormal cells multiply rapidly, crowding out healthy blood cells. This can lead to a variety of serious symptoms, which may change from person to person.
